Museum of industry and
work
The Museum of industry and work dedicates to
Eugenio Battisti is the most ambitious ongoing project of the
Foundation; a wager stemming from a long gestation commenced in
the eighties and pursued whith the first collections in the
early nineties. Over 1700 machines are stored in the museum’s
storehouses and occupy a covered surface area of about 2000
square metres in all. There are several hundred tons of
industrial exhibits which cover the cinema and television,
metal-mechanical, textile, tanning and printing sectors, as well
as some important relics of Italian industry.
