How does Anodyne Therapy work?

It works by temporarily widening the veins and the arteries. As a result, localized circulation increases, and pain and stiffness decrease.

Because painting because by poor circulation, inflamed tissues, or an injured nerves – along with  biomechanical problems – increasing the flow of blood to an affected area will bring more oxygen to it, along with nutrients, and anti-inflammatory substances. Also, more waste products will be transported away from the area. Anodyne Therapy claims to increase localized blood circulation by 1300%.

According to the site LivingWithTN.org, “patients with nerve pain, including TN, experience great success with infrared light therapy. Officially called monochromatic infrared irradiation, this treatment modality delivers pulses of infrared light to damaged tissues via flexible pads placed directly over the targeted area. As this particular wavelength of light penetrates deep into the tissues, blood vessels absorb the light’s energy, which stimulates the release of nitric oxide (NO). This causes oxygen- and nutrient-rich blood to flow to injured tissues, which fast-tracks the healing response and relieves pain.” See the rest of the post here.

Anodyne Therapy may offer a chance of relief and healing from Trigeminal Neuralgia.
